• About the Woodland Cottage
  Are you looking for a place to immerse yourself in textile activities or scrapbooking or candlemaking? The Woodland Cottage is just that place.
  
  Located just an hour northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, this three bedroom, one bathroom cottage is in a quiet wooded setting. It has a fully equipped textile workshop. Come use the looms, the spinning wheels, the cutting mats, the sewing machines or the quilting frames.
  
  Come with your own projects or bring an instructor or sign up for lessons.
  
  Take a break from the textile activities. Hike, snowshoe or cross country ski in the 40 acre woods. Feed the sheep. Pet the outdoor cat. Visit the bee yard. Or just sit outside and listen to the birds and the peeper frogs sing. Enjoy the gardens.
  
  Breakfasts are served. Other meals are available with prior arrangements, or use our furnished kitchen. No smoking, no pets, please.

• $50 per person includes breakfast.
• 3 bedrooms with single beds to sleep 4 very comfortably.
• Plus a rollaway and a cot-sized bed for 2 additional guests.
• 1 bathroom with tub/shower.
• Bedding and towels are supplied.
• Fully equipped kitchen includes:
• Fridge, range & microwave
• Cookware, baking dishes, flatware, dishes, and wine glasses
• Coffee-maker, toaster, crockpot, fondue pot, hand-held mixer, etc
• Laundry room
• Textile library
• Small TV with VCR and DVD player
• Workroom includes:
• Tables, cutting mats and rulers, 4 older sewing machines
• Quilting frames (PVC-style, grandma's old one and a Norwood 3-beam style)
• Kessnich floor loom,  2 six-foot triangle looms, "toy loom", inkle loom
• Several spinning wheels, drum carder
• Separate dye shed.
